It’s a good idea to shower prior to your appointment. You should eliminate any unnecessary contact with water or steam within the first 48 hours after your appointment to insure that the bond between the semi-permanent lashes and your natural lashes has enough time to set properly.
Wearing comfortable clothing since you will typically be lying down for 60 to 90 minutes.
Remove your contacts. Your eyes will be closed during the application of your eyelash extensions and to avoid any discomfort, it is suggested that contacts are removed to allow your eyes to be comfortable in a natural and rested state.
Do not wear makeup. Makeup worn close to your eyes will need to be removed prior to the lash application process. Arriving for your appointment with a clean face will save time and eliminate the need to have your stylist remove your eye makeup.
Avoid face creams or sun-block to the eye area. Many moisturizers and sun-blocks contain oils that can prevent the eyelash glue from properly adhering to your natural lashes. This can dramatically reduce the longevity of your extensions.
Avoid curling your lashes the day of your lash extension appointment. Your eyelashes need to be in the most natural and healthy state possible prior to your extension application.
